In 1969, my father, Larry Murphy, received an offer for a septic truck, free of charge. It was the beginning of Murphy's journey into the septic business and the foundation of what would become Murphy's Sand and Gravel - Septic. I was just five years old when my dad brought that truck home. At the time, I had no idea that moment would shape my future, or that I'd be carrying on his legacy more than 57 years later by providing comprehensive septic system services throughout Dutchess County.
